The Story follows Jietang Tzau, a boy who hails from royal descent he is part of a fraction of the population that is "marked," though it is unclear what this mark is capable of as most people's marks manifest at the age of 15 and their purpose is clear as the mark will be a flame or some type of element and it will strengthen that or give them some ability relating to the shape of the mark but Tzau's mark is an odd shape which has been examined by many scholars to no conclusion we will explore this in more depth in the story of course so be ready!

This story takes place over a large span of time, hence the title Span of Time. It begins during the events of Origins and continue to the the events of Inquisition. There is not much from during the time of Dragon Age 2, but I do try to incorporate Fenris into the story. There is a lot of point of view jumping around. Many are original characters, but some of them are original such as Fenris, Cullen, and Cassandra. The story begins with Jamison, a Circle Tower mage during the time of Dragon Age: Origins. She gets caught in the middle of events during the origin timeline of the Warden... but is she the Hero of Fereldan or is she a fraud? Did she take credit for the success of her now dead friends or is she the real deal? Is she able to track down the family that seemingly abandoned her to the Circle? The only way to find out is to read.

A little piece to try- - A king of a small state had ridden out with his army had finished a devasting victory battle. As he looked around at the aftermath on the outskirts of his lands layered with blood-stained dirt, unidentifiable bodies of friend or foe and even refuging villagers. Even the land was tired of the battles- it was wasted. The king assumed that nothing in front of him would be still alive as he rode pass with his fatigued horse. In the deaf of the wind he heard faint crying, he scanned over the bodies on the blood-soaked mud. His steed jumped and nayed putting the king out of balance. A figure slowly raised up covered in maroon mud. It was too short and slim of statue to be a soldier. As it raised completely up to its own feet and the only pure sight was the pair of the whites and dark eyes. He realized what he was seeing-- a little girl. In her eyes, the king saw the sorrows of the people and the land.
