Meet Ashlyn Leighton. She's a bad ass demon hunter whose job is pretty simple: get rid of the nasty creatures that go 'boo' in the middle of the night. Now add in a demon who wants her dead, awkward conversations with a guy who can't take a hint, a new/old best friend who asks a lot of questions, a past that keeps coming back to haunt her and a whole lot more, Ashlyn's life suddenly gets a whole lot more complicated.

Achilles was the one she went to warn as danger came in time to stop her warnings on her tongue. They flee together just in the nick of time. But now, what are they going to do?

Darian is a girl who has been sold as a slave after a vicious betrayal from one of her friends. After this, she vows to herself to get vengeance for her family and kill the one that has betrayed her family. When she is a slave, she is mistaken as a boy and sold to be a miner.
