I was sitting alone near this tiny coffee shop in the West Village, watching people pass like thoughts I didn't want to think. I wasn't really waiting for anything. Or maybe I was. For a sign. A reason. A moment. Then someone walked by-a man I didn't recognize, and probably wouldn't have noticed if he hadn't dropped it. Just a piece of paper. Small. Torn at the edge. It landed near my feet like fate wasn't trying too hard to be subtle. I picked it up. That paper? It changed everything. I still don't know who he was. I don't even know why he chose me. But what was written on that page started something I couldn't stop. And maybe, deep down, I didn't want to.

This is basically going to be a book that each chapter is a different "story" that happened in my life. The stories will not be in order that they happened.
