Axel Sharpe is a sixteen-year-old teenager who loves free running, when he was younger at first he hated running but once he discovered putting obstacles in the way, jumping and vaulting over objects it was exhilarating for him. He ended up enjoying it so much that he started an Instagram page that to share the love of his hobby, as if by some miracle his page started to quickly gain followers to watch him jump roof to roof in urban terrains or tree to tree in jungle-like biomes. His life would change though when he said on one of his clips his dream would be to run along dinosaurs at Jurassic World, that same company would be the one to see this clip and give him a special surprise to go to an even more special camp. I wonder how that will go?

It didn't help how every family she was sent to always threw her away like she wasn't a human being in the end, rendered an annoyance. Her current situation isn't any better, and there are moments she's wondered if going back to the mind-numbing systems and the orphanage would be better. Upon winning an archery competition involving a guarantee trip to a State of the Art camp on Isla Nublar as its prize, Alpine believes she's finally able to let out the breath she knew she's been holding and enjoy her break from her tormenting foster family. That is until shady experiments backfire and cause mass evacuation. Except part of those experiments resulted in the discovery of a young hybrid who imprinted on Alpine after the 14 year old witnessed the hybrid hatch-- which she wasn't supposed to. Now, alongside six other campers, Alpine must survive on the dinosaur-infested island while protecting her friends from certain death. After winning a video game, dinosaur fanatic Darius Bowman is given the opportunity to visit Camp Cretaceous, an exclusive adventure dinosaur camp on Isla Nublar. Once there, Darius meets eleven other teenagers-Ben, Yaz, Brooklynn, Kenji, Sammy, Bailey, Eric, Nancy, Hope, Terrence, and Hugo-who were also chosen for the once-in-a-lifetime experience. However, when the dinosaurs break free from their habitats, the campers are stranded and forced to venture across the island without any help in the hopes of finding a way out and getting out alive.

We survived the island because we had each other. Adjusting to returning to the mainland was a challenge. But we made it. Then they returned. Dinosaurs escaped Nublar, and now they live among us. Humans and dinosaurs are now forced to coexist. Six years have passed and we didn't know that the park was only the beginning. Someone is after us...and we lost one of our own."

Fences fail, a monster escapes, and he finds himself dodging death at every turn as Jurassic World collapses around him. Forced to rely on a group of campers he barely knows, he must learn to trust, change, and survive in a place where one wrong step can get him killed. Jurassic World was never the gift he wanted. Now, the campers must ready themselves for a harrowing and exhilarating journey filled to the brim with ambushes from bloodthirsty predators, the accidental unraveling of untold secrets, and unexpected relations forming between one another. The question remains, will the participants of Camp Cretaceous be able to make it out of this escapade alive? So guess who's back! So I was struck with the motivation and inspo to write a short fic of Darius and Brooklyn in their time together in the cabin. But I also thought what would happen if Darius was hurt on the job? Cause surely that must've happened a few times since he worked directly with capturing and relocating hostile Dinos! So here's a short fic of Darius getting hurt while at work and Brooklyn being scared out of her mind! XD Hope you enjoy!

A lot happens to the Camp Cretaceous kids once they make it off the island. It's not easy for life to return to normal. Their families notice, they can see it everyday and they can see what is actually helping them. Because they don't know how to address everything, they love these kids but recognize the bonds built over their time away.
