The sky was now the colour of a ripe prune; with bright yellow stars braving the sky. Dragging her long brown skirt against the wet cobblestone, Eloise made her way to EnChante's Cafe. EnChante's was a small vintage cafe that lay at the end of the street; overlooking the fresh sea and crowded harbor. And when the sun shone, the water would glisten ever so pleasantly.. Just nothing but waved and waves of fresh water lapping each other. As much as one would think because of these beautiful traits it was a famous cafe- but almost no one (especially the new comers) took notice of it.

An enemy to lovers story. the book is about bree heartfield and alec simons. they are both enemies because of their families. their families both detest each other and they the same to each other. bree goes to train to fight crime and defend herself at darkfield academy. when she gets there she forms a close group of friends and a realationship. but suddenly after meeting the infamous alec simons everything changes. she soon finds out a dark secret about alec. he has been choosen by his family to kill her . after telling her family the news she is met with an unpromising claim. how will she survive this?
