Every Guardian opens their eyes for the first time knowing nothing of their past life. To seek what you were before is considered taboo, though it doesn't stop the few curious ones. However, no matter their past, sometimes their past comes creeping up, either by chance, or choice. Though for a few, their past is not their own. This story is a prologue to a future set of stories following a Guardian awoken in the midst of the Dark Ages, where all sides had fallen for the worst. While it may be taboo for a Guardian to know their past, who's to say for those with prying eyes? This work takes place within the Destiny 2 universe and story. Many of the elements here mirror closely to those in-game, but with minor differing details.

The Mythic Histories are the very earliest stories of the land of Tor, where gods watch over mankind from the safety of the secluded Ashrtor. These stories are the mythology of the world, concerning the very creation of the world up to the titanic fall of the gods. There are mighty heroes of legend who venture far abroad to face down terrifying creatures, and with them stand the gods, who involve themselves in the ways of the world when they see fit. This is a collection of short tales about the myths and legends of Tor. Each chapter is a different story, although some may be linked by characters, locations or themes. This does connect to my other story so if you want a bit more information about something then it might be addressed here. Wargeist, magical creatures, and many other creatures coexist peacefully. Although their population is much smaller than that of ordinary humans, they still manage to coexist. However, the Zacrathis, an astral being, do not coexist with them. The Zacrathis have their own ambitions. They desire to conquer Orthelis and have all beings, mortal and immortal, worship them. The Zacrathis are terrifying creatures: they are large, can fly, have large bat-like wings, horns, fangs, blood-red eyes, and a terrifying voice. They had a tail, and it had a sharp edge, as sharp as a sword. Millions of years ago, they were created from the souls of dead souls carrying vengeance from thousands of dimensions. The Zacrathis lord ordered his subordinates to find a human sacrifice to increase his power. They were born in darkness and loneliness, yet they possess incredible strength. The most powerful creature, Zacrathis, or the immortal devourers. 1700 years ago, in the year 535 ENE, there was a massive war between mortal and immortal beings against the immortal devourers. Zacrathis began to conquer the Orthelis in 788 EBD. That's an era before darkness. They weren't just attacking humans, but immortal creatures as well. The world lost its light for several decades until it reached its peak in 535, when the mortals and immortals declared war. Both mortals and immortals continued to try to attack Zacrathis. The group of immortal devourers, with at least 10 immortal creatures attacking 1 Zacrathis, was unfortunately very easily defeated by Zacrathis. Yes, Zacrathis won decisively. Note: Fiction.
