And the dark lord will do anything to stop those of the light from destroying the hatchling. Only a witch from Christi's bloodline and the strength of the bond which she holds with the medallion of magic can defeat the dark lord. But, will she succeed? Or will history repeat itself...

When the Traveler entered the solar system everything changed. It propelled humanity thousands of years in the future with new technology. It made Mercury a garden world and allowed mankind to delve the secrets of the universe with its Light. But the Light that shone down on humans was coveted by many other species, searching the void of space for the Traveler and its Light. They found it, and then the Darkness came for all. This story is about a group of Guardians leading a band of survivors across the North American dead-zones to safety in the Dark Age; shortly after the Collapse. Jade is a newly awoken Guardian with no memories of her previous life. She must learn how to use her new powers to survive and find out what it means to be a Guardian in a world riddled with alien enemies and no safe haven. With each death and resurrection she wonders if she could trust her Ghost, her companions, and her own memories. Why was she chosen? What really happened during the Collapse? Is the enigmatic Traveler truly a friend of mankind? Or can the Ahamkara, powerful shapeshifting Dragons, give her what she seeks?

In this story, these three girls will go through so much yet the bonds that are so strong will start to break with every second wasted trying to complete their goal and trying to remember what their true jobs are as gods. Can they do this or will they break under the pressure?

However, the Zacrathis, an astral being, do not coexist with them. The Zacrathis have their own ambitions. They desire to conquer Orthelis and have all beings, mortal and immortal, worship them. The Zacrathis are terrifying creatures: they are large, can fly, have large bat-like wings, horns, fangs, blood-red eyes, and a terrifying voice. They had a tail, and it had a sharp edge, as sharp as a sword. Millions of years ago, they were created from the souls of dead souls carrying vengeance from thousands of dimensions. The Zacrathis lord ordered his subordinates to find a human sacrifice to increase his power. They were born in darkness and loneliness, yet they possess incredible strength. The most powerful creature, Zacrathis, or the immortal devourers. 1700 years ago, in the year 535 ENE, there was a massive war between mortal and immortal beings against the immortal devourers. Zacrathis began to conquer the Orthelis in 788 EBD. That's an era before darkness. They weren't just attacking humans, but immortal creatures as well. The world lost its light for several decades until it reached its peak in 535, when the mortals and immortals declared war. Both mortals and immortals continued to try to attack Zacrathis. The group of immortal devourers, with at least 10 immortal creatures attacking 1 Zacrathis, was unfortunately very easily defeated by Zacrathis. Yes, Zacrathis won decisively. Note: Fiction. This story is a prologue to a future set of stories following a Guardian awoken in the midst of the Dark Ages, where all sides had fallen for the worst. While it may be taboo for a Guardian to know their past, who's to say for those with prying eyes? This work takes place within the Destiny 2 universe and story. Many of the elements here mirror closely to those in-game, but with minor differing details.
