A dark and stormy night is not all that it seems.

Some people are born into the light. Many search for it. Most people find the light. A few turn to darkness. But never born to darkness. Some say curses don't exist. Others say luck doesn't exist. 'You've simply been dealt a bad hand'. If curses aren't real, then I can't be cursed. I was damned. Some would call my condition a blessing. It's not. Fate may or may not be real, I'm not sure yet. Emily moves into an old Victorian house on the edge of town and immediately feels like she's being watched. She hears strange noises and sees shadowy figures, and soon finds herself face-to-face with a ghostly presence. As she tries to uncover the truth behind the haunting, Emily realizes that she may be in more danger than she ever imagined.
