How two lost little boys became the young men who found a lost girl. ********** This is a collection of James's McKenna's memories of growing up with Taiomah Adohi. It is a side story to "Dark as the Night." While both books can be read as stand-alones, this story gives a little bit of background information to enhance DatN. Likewise, reading moments of James & Tai's past would be more enjoyable if you are already introduced to the boys through DatN.

“You couldn’t have waited until we got into the room!” I heard foot step outside of our room and when I looked over Erik shoulder I seen that young couple we meet in the monsieur’s office I was mortified because they think Erik is my brother and they caught us in a predicament like this could this day get any worse. “Oh honey I never though I would see siblings doing these kind of thing together.” She looked over to her boyfriend with a dirty look on her face that kind of pissed me off but I couldn’t really say anything cause of the position I’m in then when I closed my eyes waiting for them to insult us I felt like all the weight that was on me vanished and then I heard a slam and I notice I could sit back up

The story of the boy who ran away and the girl who came back. ********** This is the backstory for Leila and Liam from "Dark as the Night." Both books can be read and enjoyed as stand-alones, but they do enhance each other. This also gives a little bit more background on why Camp McKenna was formed and the political situation that surrounds it. Plus: James as a scrawny little boy! ********** #491 in ChickLit - 9/02/17 #957 in ChickLit - 8/30/17
