It's been 4 years since the boys last saw each other. What'll happen next? This story is set in the Hunter X Hunter universe and I've tried to make the characters reactions as appropriate as I possibly could. Born in the Amell Kingdom, a country where everyone is a nen practitioner and has it's borders closed, rarely to be opened, 10 year old, nen prodigy, Adira Adler dream is to see, explore and experience the world outside her birth place. A rare opportunity for her to do so arises when her mother decided that she will take the Hunter Exam outside of the Kingdom. But there was a catch, she had to go about taking the exam without utilizing her nen so she can improve her physical strength! As Adira participates in a different venue of the Hunter Exam (that to her kingdom), she meets Gon Freecs, an innocent boy who wants to become a Hunter to find his father; Killua Zoldyck, an assassin prodigy who came to the Hunter Exam just for the fun of it; Kurapika Kurta, who wants to become a Blacklist Hunter to take vengeance for his late clan members; and Leorio Paradinight, who wants to become a Hunter for money. She would have never expected after meeting these four, her fate would be greatly intertwined with them as her time to fully experience the world outside the dangerous borders of Amell commences.

When Kurapika pushes himself too far with his Emperor Time ability and passes out, Bill calls for a doctor. Kurapika wakes to find his old friend by his bedside. A little "what if?" Leopika one shot imagining what might've happened if Leorio had come to take care of Kurapika during the Succession War when he passed out. Very minor spoilers for the Succession War arc. This story is a Dark Continent Alternate Universe (AU). Story takes place after Gon and Ging had a father-son conversation atop the world tree. Set place after the chairman election arc. The plot covers the background of Ging Freecss, future adventure at the dark continent, and explores the father-son relationship of Ging and Gon Freecss.
