He grabbed her by her leg, dragging her to one corner of the bed with just one pull, when she gasped, froze in her place. She feared him not because he would harm her, but it was something else, silent in his dead eyes, which warned her every time. She felt as if he would devour her at any moment.
"I really want to punish you... you keep betraying me... sweetheart," he spoke, getting closer with each word coming out. She could feel his breath on her face, and he was no longer looking into her eyes.
She placed both her hands on her mouth, covering her lips to be precise, glaring back at him, when he felt a fire in him which he was never able to understand even after so many years. The fire which ignites him to devour her, even if it meant burning her totally, but he kept putting it out onto himself and burning continuously. Things were different this time, and he was going to change the course of things.
She felt a shiver which turned into something tingling when it moved to her stomach, making her whole body freeze as he pressed his lips over her hand, kissing it so passionately that she felt the burn on her lips, which were protected by her hands, or that was what she thought a while ago.
A part of her wanted to scream. A part of her wanted to cry. But she knew very well she would end up in a worse state if she made a move right now. She knew very well what type of fire she had just put the fuel for. She thought she could escape this disaster if she didn't move for a long time, but she was wrong, as the next moment she saw him unbuttoning his shirt as he took off his coat long ago, and her mind was unable to process anything at that moment.
It was time for only one thing, and she had to make her choice quickly.
