The war was over. Megatron, the evil warlord who had plagued the galaxy for so long, had finally given up and disappeared. Cybertron and Earth celebrated his absence, but his presence was found once again, only twenty years after the war ended. Knowing he needed to live, to remember those he had wronged, Megatron went back to Earth and found himself a home in an old energon mine. He was alone for years in sorrow and regret until one day, a little insect wormed her way into his life. Minerva Bryce wanted an adventure. She was tired of a life of training and lectures from her grandfather. After countless attempts to run away, the curious girl found herself sitting at a desk with an open file sitting in front of her. A classified, top secret file about abandoned alien mines. Turns out, she wasn't the only one who thought they'd be a good place to hide. While the two are destined to meet, another great power is rising that will threaten both Cybertron and Earth. Optimus races to find Megatron, knowing he is the only one who can help them, despite what his other Autobots think. Soon enough, familiar faces and old rivals turn up as rumor of this great power and Megatron spreads. And not all of them are here for hugs.

She never thought the three kids she had met and become fast friends with, Jack, Raf, and Miko, had a secret that was bigger than a two-story building. Except for Jack's motorcycle, perhaps. It could be one and a half stories. So when these two meet, which aren't under the best of circumstances, they might start butting heads (or helms, or both, or-you get the idea). Or they can have a guardian/charge relationship that they slowly build up to, even when one of them will respond to the other without a word. He was insane, sadistic, and obsessive. As a loyal Decepticon and a femme with a vendetta, Temptest knew there was no one she hated more. In another dimension, Optimus Prime, otherwise known as the passionate Autobot leader, discovers a strangle signal that leads his team to a femme who curses his name and wishes him dead. After trying to help her overcome some sort of brainwashing, Optimus realizes that the truth is more complicated than it seems. As the two of them work together, they both face their weaknesses and the many trials thrown at them by an interdimensional threat and some domestic ones. Optimus has a harsh life as the bearer of the matrix and Temptest struggles to be the symbol of freedom she once was. Alongside them, one Megatron works to protect his adopted family while the other tags along, fighting and testing them in hopes he'll find what he lost in his own dimension. The bots imagine that a terrible villain is on the prowl, but struggle to figure out who.
