August is a successful surgeon, constantly pulled between the pressure of saving lives and the distance growing inside his own. Between sleepless nights, unspoken frustrations, and a house full of children who notice more than anyone admits, the cracks in their marriage begin to widen. What was once partnership slowly turns into silence. What was once love begins to feel like survival. And in a home where nothing is ever truly said out loud, their children start learning the language of tension, distance, and unanswered questions. As Maddie and August are forced to confront the truth of what they've become, they must decide whether love is something that can be rebuilt-or if some breaks are too deep to repair. Because sometimes, the hardest part isn't falling apart. It's realizing it happened quietly... while you were still standing next to each other.

Vera was supposed to be the guardian of the land, protecting it with her Magic. Magic, that she in fact did not have complete control over, relying on her enchanted necklace to help her channel her powers. But when her necklace gets stolen she doesn't know what to do. Following a note she and her friends found they meet Nathan and his band. Nathan at first seems nothing more than a handsome thief with the power to manipulate fire. But as Vera gets to know him, things seem a bit darker than that ~'~'~'~'~'~' This story was inspired by the song 'Counting Stars' by imagine dragons. Much too soon River and Damon meet again, but Damon is different ...regretful. Having been trained River has turned dark and stoic and only showing emotion to those she cares about. Dark thoughts surround her as she blends so well into the darkness she becomes a part of it. Will Damon pull her away from the darkness she has faded into? Just a poem

This poetry collection is like my personal safe. Here, I dive into my deepest and darkest secrets, my late night thoughts. When I sat down to write them it sometimes felt like a hot summer night, though sometimes I reached out from a nightmare in my pitch black bedroom and I felt the need to write what I'd just seen: fear, death, people screaming at me that I'm not enough, that I shouldn't be here... Writing these poems helped me heal something that was long-broken inside me. See these poems like a trail of fire, it's going to burn at some point but in the end it will feel and smell beautifully, just like a charred rose petal. Are you ready to come with me? Take my hand, but I can't promise you can handle everything that creeps inside my head. For now, let's just imagine it's August and we're by the beach... He's gone.

He is known as the mad man, the man that is out of his tree. He knows himself as Emerson, the man that suffers with more demons than most. Constantly stumbling from one question to the next, he struggles to tell what is real and what isn't. His mind is nothing but a series of blank spaces and black spots where his memories should be.Where the memories of childhood, high school, christmases should reside, he remembers nothing. He lives alone, struggling with his demons. He knows that he is insane but he is just trying to put his life together, wondering why the voices speak to him and no one else. Wondering why he is unable to tell if the person walking down the street is real or not. **Snippet from the novel I wrote for the July Camp NaNoWriMo. I own all rights to this excerpt.
