My aunt's dog Pumpkin and I always dressed up for Halloween together, ever since he had warmed up to me as a puppy. But on the night she passed, he suddenly disappeared, and I was devastated. A year passed, and I was still too depressed to go out for trick-or-treat. But then, Pumpkin returned, and I was so happy. I mean, confused, but happy. Now, he belongs to me, as my aunt had written in her will, but I'm not so sure if he belongs to the rest of the family. I may only be ten, but I tend to notice when dogs straight out attack people. I know this world well, and I know if a dog is a good or bad boy.
