The baker greets with sugared bread, the blacksmith's hammer sings with the town musicians, and couples dance when lanterns glow like fallen stars. Festivals turn nights into oceans of song, where drums thunder and torches paint the sky in fire and gold. In this place, hope does not hide-it parades, it feasts, it laughs. The people call their home a sanctuary, untouched by sorrow, where each day begins with promise and ends in peace. To live here is to believe, if only for a moment, that darkness is nothing more than a distant dream. But beneath their feet, the roots stretch into silence. For every blossom hides its shadow, and every feast masks a silence that waits. The kingdom may be a cradle of joy, but its foundation drinks from the same soil where nightmares stir. Here, survival is no gift. Every choice is a bargain, every path a trial. What seems human may wear another face, and what seems monstrous may hold a broken heart. Secrets buried for centuries stir in the soil, twisting destiny tighter with every breath. POV: *Lucy* I don't know what is worse, Having no friends to celebrate your birthday or getting an absolutely strange gift from a secret admirer..... Ever since I left my uncle's place when I was 18 , strange gifts pop up every month, Sheep flesh, Woods remains, wild flowers and to make it worse blood sprinkled on top of it. The thought of it horrifying. I don't want to live with my uncle anymore, he just wants the fortune to his name that my dad has left for me.This house? it's worth millions, people would die for having the Fortune I inherited. Every good thing comes with a disadvantage, for example every guy I dated wanted my money and friends? Or should I call them rats? Have always used me to get a share from my investment. The cost I have to pay for big money is attracting snakes into my life. The only reason I've stopped interacting with people. But who's the one? Daring enough to knock my doors and never show their face when I answer it. I had multiple police complaints done against the anonymous weird noises every night, the ocassional door knocks, the raw flesh irritating odour, the Random scratches on walls and every spine chilling experience I have ever had. I just couldn't take it anymore. And to all of this, the officers said, " Ma'am, there is no evidence of human life around 5km radius. All we found are wolves in this region. " "WOLVESS?"
