In 2018 antisepticeye is on a quest for payback against darkiplier after dark Chica almost ate them which left their argument unfinished. He finds this book that tells the story of Raef and also tells of Phantom, a persona like natemare. Seeing this Raef as his ticket to vengeance and also to awaken another antituber he tracks down vlogger/gamer Joey Graceffa and targets him. At the same time Nathan is having odd dreams not realizing they're memories of Phantom. all he could seem to figure out was to "protect the ice phantom" whoever that is. He discovers anti's goal thanks to natemare and calls on Mark/dark for some backup. The word about these newbies intrigues dark. In result what will happen with all eyes on Joey?

You're not Mark!" Amy protested as she pushed herself up off of the ground. "Technically, since I'm in his body, I am." Dark explained, his smile irritating Amy. "You're different." Amy shook her head. "So are you, wether you admit it or not." Dark shrugged nonchalantly before grabbing her by the arm, causing the world to turn black.

But what Ethan didn't know much about was marks alter ego that he will experience a traumatic encounter with. Due to Ethan's already unstable mental state, being raped caused him to fall back into a pit he though he left long ago. Causing old scars to reopen.
