When Alina Starkov accidentally reveals herself as Ravka's long-awaited Sun Summoner, her life changes forever. Taken to the Little Palace by the enigmatic General Kirigan, she finds herself drawn to the shadowy Grisha leader from the very moment she sees him step from his carriage...elegant, powerful, and impossibly captivating.

During the war Ravka, prince Vasily needs to find a wife and make sure he has an heir to the throne. Anya Dubrolova is sent to the Grand Palace, as the daughter of the Duke, it is het duty to stand out. To make her family proud and powerful, Anya has to marry the prince, even though she doesn't want to. Anya wants to marry out of love. In the Little Palace, Fedyor has been assigned to be the bodyguard of Anya Dubrolova. Knowing that he has to be nothing more than a protecter, he cannot ignore the sparks he feels every time he is with Anya, and tries to create more distance between them. The fireworks between them are dangerous and they both risk banishment or even death if they admit their feelings. Will they be able to ignore the sparks and do their job? Or will they risk everything they worked for? All characters belong to Leigh Bardugo, except for the ones I created. This is Fedyor from the Netflix show Shadow and Bone and will have his features.

We'd been waiting for the Sun Summoner our whole lives. We were told stories about that person that would destroy the swathe of blackness known as the Shadow Fold, the place called the Unsea, the place that divided all of Ravka. My twin brother, Aleksander Kirigan, known as General Kirigan to the Second Army of Grisha soldiers and the court of the Little Palace, as well as to all of Ravka, works tirelessly to maintain order in our corner of Ravka, lead the Second Grisha soldiers and find the Sun Summoner in order to destroy the Shadow Fold. Our father died when we were young, and our mother is well - cranky. Our mother, Baghra, lives in a little hut not too far from the Little Palace. She hates the door being left open to her hut because it steals the heat, and for some reason has a problem with my brother. She adores me, in her own special cranky way. I was born to be a princess, not a military leader like my brother. Marry well, do and say all the right things, I was told, and perhaps I could even rise to the throne of Ravka, perhaps alongside one of the King's sons as my husband. I had everything, but I didn't like my life. I wanted to be free, like my brother. The queen's attendant, Genya, called me a 'wild child.' She still does. I train regularly with the Grisha in the Second Army at the Little Palace, but I've rarely ever left the Little Palace. But when a girl named Alina Starkov arrived at the Little Palace, courtesy of my brother, everything began to change. Aleksander thought she was the Sun Summoner, the one to heal all of Ravka. And as time changed, a sinister plan began to take hold of the Little Palace, as well as all of the Grisha and the rest of the court. And Alina was getting caught in the middle of it. But so was I. I'm Adela Kirigan - but the legacy of my name, and what was taking hold, would soon become a great danger to all of Ravka.

The Darkling stares back and for a while the only thing that moves in the room are the shadows. "Alina, you misunderstand me. I have waited centuries for someone like you. Centuries, Alina, alone. I do not need to answer your question. You know what I want." Please don't say it, I think. "I want you to be my Queen, Alina." He pushes off from his chair and I shiver in my seat as he pauses by my side. The Darkling's hands find my chin and he holds my head tenderly with both hands. My power sparks at his touch like fire to kindling and I have to clench a hand in my dress skirt to keep control. He makes sure my gaze is entirely on him when he says, "And you know you will." I shake underneath the pressure of his words and he strokes my chin to calm me. Fine, but he has no idea what he is asking for. I shall be a queen, but not his. And he will regret the day he forced me back at his side like a dog. Aleksander, I think, bow. ༶•┈┈ ♛ ┈┈•༶ It starts with burst of light, like it did in the beginning. Every time a Sun Summoner dies, there is a burst of light. With every flashing death, Alina can feel a strong hum of power return to her. Fearing the loss of her new life, she sets out on a mission to the Little Palace with hopes her old friends could help her. Little does Alina know, a familiar shadow sits on the throne of Grisha. As a whirlwind of events sets her right back on square one, Alina makes a vital decision to change everything. Still, she finds herself teetering in the edge of letting the Darkling and her powers swallow her up. The Sun Summoner has grown and she can no longer be a saint. Alina married Aleksander, and things didn't go as planned once he became king and she became queen. Clearly she misjudged the relationship between him and one Zoya Nazyalenskya. Alina is not the Sun Summoner, or has not been discovered yet, I leave that to you, the reader.

There are legends of a sword in a stone. ALINA STARKOV is a self-made woman. Some people might call her a warlord, some people might call her a hero. It didn't matter to her. She needed to make something of herself and she did. When she hears stories of this stone, she feels drawn to it, even though she's not sure if it's true or not. ALEKSANDER MOROZOVA is a swordsmaster. He's taught plenty of great knights in the Kingdom and is a puritanical man, although he has an ego. When he tries to pull the sword out of the stone and can't do it, he's reeling and angry. And then Alina Starkov comes in...

Once she was an explorer of the stars and now she was a Star Summoner (well official title was 'Sun Summoner'). As Alina she decides to use her powers for the good of Grisha that have fallen through the cracks before she has to fully reveal who she is...before it's time to use her powers to topple governments and wage wars.

A year after Alina Starkov tears down the Shadow Fold, she is finally able to settle into her peaceful life. There is no more war with Ravka. The Darkling, once her enemy, is now a loyal, protective husband, and a father to their adoptive daughter, Amelia. But all things must end. The Sun Summoner learns that a time of peace can become a time of chaos and upheaval in the blink of an eye. As quickly as one war ends, another can emerge. Alina must protect her country as Queen while making sure that the Darkling doesn't revert to his old villainous self, or else all they have built will come crashing down. This is a sequel to The True Saint, but can be read separately. The world is based off of the Shadow & Bone Netflix series/ books by Leigh Bardugo. Behind him, a monster ten feet tall, made of shadow, forms in a menacing stance, ready to carry out his silent orders. I thought I had seen the last of his nichevo'ya a long time ago when we were on opposing sides of the war. I shake my head. "No. No, what are you doing? Wait!" I send the Cut barrelling at the monster. It dissociates into nothing only for another one to take its place. Again, I send the Cut through the abomination, but it was only a diversion. Another one forms behind me, capturing my arms to prevent me from summoning. It holds me above the ground. I kick and scream, but it covers my mouth with its long, slender arm, the other holding me securely to its chest. My breath is labored as I use all of my strength to fight it. It is futile. The Darkling approaches me, stroking his fingers across my cheek as a way to comfort me. It is hard, however, to comfort someone if you are the cause of the distress. "I will do anything in my power to protect you, my Dear Alina. Anything."

Alina and Fedyor travel back to Os Alta together, but there is a hitch in the plans, a worrisome one.

I loved her, from the first time I met her until the end. In all that time I never got a chance to tell her my dream. STORY BETTER THAN SUMMARY! Events are happening after season 2 (includes some scenes from 8 episode). I like an idea of dark Alina or morally grey. This story is about how I would like to see further events. How Alina will walk the Darkling's path, and understand all his words. How she will accept herself, and her love to him. P.S. If you read my story "The light behind the darkness", you may know how much I love Darklina. And after his disappointing death in the series, I have an inspiration to write new one about them.
