Lapisa, after taking her own life, ends up in a world she is unfamilliar with, lost and confused. How did she end up there? Could she survive in this unfamiliar place? Lapisa, a 20 year old college student, found the weight of her past, her failing academic life and her family's crippling debt too much to bear. She makes the decision that she has had enough of everything the world has showed and given her thus far in life. However instead of resting for eternity as she had hoped, she finds herself having to figure out how to survive in a completely new and different world around new people. After fighting to survive in a new world with drastically different dangers than she is used to, Lapisa meets Lan who takes her to an inn led by Matilda, a middle-aged women. Matilda takes Lapisa in and gives her a chance to start anew , she is given a second chance in life. Maybe things will go different this time. One day a man with a dark past behind him finds himself back at the inn. He will soon start again, doing the one thing that can alleviate the intense hatred inside of him for a while. There was something about him that seemed familiar to Lapisa, but how? How could she find a stranger in an unfamiliar world familiar? This is the beginning of a book written by three high-school students. A book that combines fantasy, thriller and humor with a slice of life. I yawned, drowsy, as I made my way to the bedroom after I got dressed for bed. Impatient, I threw myself to the bed and stretched, proceeding to hug the large stuffed teddy bear. I blinked, wondering when I bought it. How much did this cost again? Wait- No... I did not buy it. I also don't own stuffed animals. My bed dipped behind, and an arm laid on top of my waist after. Who was this person? Don't I live alone? Where did they come from? I snapped wide awake as I finally realized the gravity of my situation. It can't be- It's impossible! No way! Please- not him! Anyone! Just not him! I- He... He found me. "Why are you still awake at this hour, sweetheart?" A familiar deep voice soothingly said. "I can't sleep." I quivered, tears spilling, as I accepted my fate. He found me.

Broken, used, beaten. After being kidnapped from Earth at 12, the experimental demon king is finally defeated by the hero. On the edge of death he remembers his life from before, the one he was forced to forget. Feeling an important piece of him he's been missing return. He finds it funny that in a way he was also saved by the hero, dying content. Somehow he returns to Earth. Human form given back to him.
