Having aided Mosi Carter/Kwaku Anansi in stabilizing New Haven's Loom threads, MidNite's attention turns to threats lurking in the mystical underworld-and to unfinished business with the trickster god Anansi, whose past manipulation continues to haunt him. The show blends street-level supernatural crime-fighting with mystical investigations, spiritual bargains, and morally complex decisions. MidNite operates from the MidNite Club, a neon-lit magical sanctuary beneath Harlem, where he maintains talismans, binds spirits, and negotiates with entities across time and dimensions.

But there is a bad side the multiverse, that side is where the darkness corrupted them, this is called the Dark Multiverse. But one universe in the Dark Multiverse met its end before it could begin with the universe it was mirroring. That universe died from an unknown source of power, but one person was spared from that dark fate. A Kryptonian/Saiyan hybrid who never lands on Earth Instead before his universe could begin, his fate was sealed until he was saved by an unknown force. He had to grow up in a new realm and now he goes by the name Y/N, where he now is tasked with saving the multiverse as the darkness now seeks to corrupt the entire multiverse.

Season 4 Synopsis - Kwaku Anansi: Threads of Destiny In New Haven, Mosi Carter, fully ascended as Kwaku Anansi, discovers the Loom of Threads has begun to fracture, signaling dangers that stretch beyond his city. To protect both street-level civilians and the multiverse, he forms Team Anansi: his sister Asha as Gold Beetle, dimensional teen Derek James / Sideways, the speedster Starr Johnson / Killspeed, and displaced hero Virgil Hawkins / Static Beyond.
