It's not that great in the beginning but gets better, and then becomes not that great at all, but then becomes really awesome. At the end of Mark of Athena, Percy fell into tartarus with Annabeth. But what if Jason had time to save one of them? Percy obviously makes him save Annabeth. What will he do to survive? Because now there's nothing holding him back. Disclaimer: All characters belong to Rick Riordan.

Percy Jackson is not a good person. At least, not anymore. Percy has been through a lot. Annabeth is dead and his few remaining friends are scattered across America. Percy's been loyal and heroic his whole life, he's always done what the gods asked. And they have only ever repaid him with pain and indifference. So now it's his turn. His longing for justice is growing and the more bitter he becomes, the more it sinks in that without Annabeth, he has nothing left to fight for. But then again, there's nothing holding him back. Instead of Chrysayor dying in the Mediterranean he tries to take the seven to Circe's Island. He may or may not be successful. Some did escape before Circe, some may have died. And some might come from TARTARUS early... While this is all happening, the seven have to complete their QUESTS. If they don't, the world will fall apart.
