When the darkness calls James he follows it eagerly, anything to protect his Lily. They get caught up in evil along with the other Marauders, alliances with both the dark and light, pretending to side with Dumbledore in his scheme of having death eater spies whilst simultaneously planning his demise. When baby Harry is born, they swear to themselves to do anything in their power to protect him. Kill anyone and everyone that stands in their path of becoming the most powerful wizards and bringing down their enemies. But things get complicated, as they do in such a tale.

There was a rumor of a mysterious man that roamed the hall of hogwarts. He was too old to be a student and yet too young to be a teacher. He wore muggle clothes and whistled as he walked with a little pep in his step. People who interacted with him said he was awfully sarcastic and almost always had a mischievous smile on his face.
