Adira is different, and she knows it. In a kingdom where most are controlled and brain washed into an unnatural state, it's hard not to stand out when these tactics don't work on you. Having spent most of her life imprisoned in a tower, (unlike everybody else who roamed free in the apparent utopia), waiting for the day when she will be forced to bare the future kings child, Seventeen- almost eighteen year old Adira hasn't had it easy, so after careful planning, she along with the queens children make a run for it, escaping the monarch's tyrannical rule and running to the one place that will be safe- beyond the wall; but danger still lurks, and Adira's destiny is inevitable, but is there any chance that fate might just change? Throw in a group of other rebels with a handsome yet brooding leader, a steamy connection with a charming prince, and a bunch of wild prophecies, things are about to get messy, real quick. A war is coming, and Adira is destined to be at the very front.
