Your mother is the best mother ever in your eyes, she trained you to fight with her scythe, she is very protective of you even though you don't need protection. You inherited her semblance, Elfriede's Stance, it causes you to gain extreme focus, but just like your mother, a blade of ice forms out of the extra handle on your back, allowing combo's that most would never think of.
