I'm still coming up with this story but I wanted to take a break from one shots and try to write an actual fanfic. It's been seven years since the resonance cascade and everything has gone to shit. Freeman seemingly disappeared and the cascade got the attention of a powerful alien army, the Combine. The Science Team, after being dropped back into the world after the Seven Hour War, are forced to adapt to this new lifestyle while aiding an underground resistance.

If I'm going to be harassed about taking my own time to write something I'm not going to write it. Plain and simple. This is of course a book about the Half Life VR AI characters. I do not own any of these characters, I am simply interpreting them into this book.
