In the May issue of The Next Truth we welcome back Germany's 'Time-Researcher' Dr. Marc Wittmann who is taking us into this foggy sub-world of reality, Dr. Steve Taylor discusses, with an open-minded approach, why some scientists, and psychologists in particular, are often hostile towards the possible existence of psychic phenomena and we try to wrap our mind around Dr. Glenn Croston's explanation of what it is we fear more than death itself. Also in this issue; Nick Pope speaks of the facts and the fiction of conspiracy theories, SETI's senior astronomer Dr. Shostak asks the question if alien civilizations have disappeared due a climate change on their home planet, a brief introduction of Major C. David Lewis who is a program manager in the Defense Sciences Office (DARPA), high-energy lasers drilling holes in plasma bulbs at the German research institute DESY and Lynn Kathleen Russell explores the similarities, the differences and the reality of both Near Death Experiences and Out of Body Experiences.

Imagine opening your curtains when you wake up to see snow lying on the ground like a warm blanket. As your gaze rises up slowly, you see your whole block quarantined by weird guys in white or yellow suits. What's your initial reaction? You then look up to see the one thing only shown in movies a UFO. Only your street is the crash site, you aren't allowed to leave the house, go to school, work or even go for a jog. What would life be like? Other than the publicity you receive all over the globe that opposite your house is the crash site. Forget the fame, distress would be the feeling for the upcoming weeks. I'm going to take you through this like it's some Sci-Fi VR, you venture in games. Walking through the abyss, overcome the five senses of hearing, tasting, observing, touching, and smelling the constant features around you.

A young astronaut participating in a DARPA black-ops grapples with his failing sanity during his perilous, final mission. ALSO INCLUDES: The first 5 chapters of the upcoming dark, sci-fi epic THE GRIM, the first book the The Grim Saga. The war was lost so long ago that it is spoken about only in rumored whispers. The idea of freedom is nothing more than a myth. All Rey has ever known is the life of a slave. Toiling away in the sprawling camp for his barbaric, pitiless overlords. He has heard stories. That once humans were the dominant species. That before the spread of the virus, that twisted the bodies and minds of men into the dominant creatures they are today, people were free. He doesn't waste time believing such nonsense. Until one day his world is upturned when a mysterious young slave is dragged through the high walls of his camp, and he learns that the legends were true. That there is more than the camp and the deep dark woods that surround it. That there are still humans out there who are free. That there are still humans who fight for our species. And that he may have the power to turn the tide of the war. In this world, at the crucible of extinction, heroes are not destined, they forge their own destinies through grit and blood and sacrifice. There are no Chosen Ones, there are ones who make the difficult choices. There are no prophecies, no magic. Just flawed people caught in a struggle for survival, learning what it means to live, love, be free, and most importantly, what it means to be human. THE GRIM will be available soon in all major digital retail outlets.

The year is 2094. The month is Compuary, which is a new cyber-month they added just for doing hacker stuff. The bio-scum of Circuit City festers under the iron fist of Consolidated Omnibotics and its army of synthoid enforcers. At the city's peak, under the crystal dome, incredibly wealthy and genetically immortal CEOs call shots and pull strings. And they do sex stuff up there as well. Down here in the Dirt District, the rest of us scrape by swapping garbage and doing crazy future drugs called stuff like NitroNerv and Tums 2. My name is Darpa Killblade, and I run with the baddest crew of low-life neurojackers around. There's Fishy Ramirez, fastest hacker on the net. There's Baltimore Airport, lab-grown to be a swimsuit model but programmed to kill. There's Crusty Silverware, biological warfare expert and black-market wizard. And then there's me: the owner of Circuit City's coolest jacket. We've just been handed the biggest contract of our lives: Infiltrate the dome and take out Harvard Pubence, the president of cops. Our reward? One thousand bytes, which are our money now because we use computers so much. That's enough to skip this shithole and start somewhere new. Tonight, Pubence is guest of honor at the 9th Annual Rich Perverts' Ball. My team is jacked up on Tums 2 and ready to roll the dice. So I've just got one question for you, scum.. ...are you in?
