Alice Garnet was a nineteen-year-old girl who grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In this little town, however, they have two different social classes. Greasers and Socs. Alice and her family are considered Greasers since they live on the East Side of town. Alice has two younger brothers who are twins that are named Ian and Issac who are both fourteen. She also has a younger half-sister named Riley. Riley is only a few months old and is usually taken care of by her siblings. Alice's father left her and her siblings when she was only eight years old, and her brothers were three. Her mother Julie, however, is a horrible woman who is always out and about getting drunk, sleeping around which was the cause of Riley being born. Normally when her mother Julie gets pregnant, she ends up being very unhealthy and usually has a miscarriage, but in Riley's case didn't happen. She ended up carrying her up to full term, but when she was finally born, she wanted nothing to do with her. Which is why her siblings had to step it up and help take care of their sister themselves. Alice is the only sibling who is old enough to have a job. She works at a house rooving company during the week, and she's a waitress on weekends. At her rooving job, she become friends with a man named Darry, or Darrel Curtis. They become very close and she eventually meets everyone in his gang. How do you think Alice Garnet's life will change now that she is friends with Darry and his gang? How do you think her family will react now that she is friends with a bunch of hoods?
