In the aftermath of the Clone Wars and the deaths of the Jedi Order, a shutdown signal was sent to all Battle Droids units throughout the Galaxy, effectively putting an end to the Clone Wars. In addition, the Galactic Republic was reorganised into the First Galactic Empire, and Chancellor Palpatine, who is actually the Sith Lord, Darth Sidious, establishes himself as Emperor, putting an end to democracy and creating a new era of fear, corruption and tyranny that would last over a decade. Unknown to Palpatine, one large squadron of Clone Troopers was able to ignore Order 66. In the possibility that Palpatine would betray them, the Kaminoans entrusted the young Jedi, Jack Trevelyan, to oversee a contingency plan, to reconstruct the Clone Army. Hidden in a secret facility on the remote planet, Meridia, located in the Unknown Regions. Jack had the Kaminoan Scientist, Tuma Se, oversee the reproduction of the Clone Army and enters cryo-stasis to preserve his youth, reawakening once the time comes.
