Even though she joins their group she tries her hardest to push the people in the camp away from her, she doesn't want to get too attached. Melody Grimes, the one person at camp that Daryl actually didn't hate. It was shocking, a Dixon showing a little bit of feeling towards someone. Although, he didn't show it much, he kept it bottled up just like a Dixon would. Melody felt empty, the only anchor she ever had was her brother, who was dead and gone.
