*ON HOLD* *UNDER EDITING* My name is (Y/N) (L/N), and I'm dead.....well, sort of. I don't know how to explain how I am so I'll just tell you how it happened. It was my normal day, getting up early to drop my little brother off for school. He's turning 18 soon and graduating high school. It's difficult being an older sister especially when our parents weren't around anymore. Long story short, I became Tanner's guardian. Tanner was in school and I was home on my lunch break, when suddenly I heard screaming outside. I run to the window seeing people running and other people....eating each other!? I start hearing someone shuffling at the front door, it was my neighbor Sofia trying to get inside. I let her in but was that a mistake? What's going to happen? Where is Tanner? Is he safe? I hope to God he doesn't become one of those things... Kait: Ok. I just started rereading the beginning and some of it doesn't cut it for me, so I started editing the whole story. I don't know if it'll be big changes or tiny ones, but as of right now, I am going to put this story on hold because I am not satisfied and I forgot a lot of things so I need to go back and edit a few things. Daryl Dixon x reader story! Thank you so much for giving this story a chance. If I've known anything over the past few years of owning wattpad it's that most readers skip along the boring comments. SO because I like to think of myself as not...very boring we'll skip along then! DISCLAIMERS: This story is pre apocalypse and will stay pre apocalypse until the second book where hopefully I am still writing this series. This book is made out of boredom and my 22 yr old self contemplating on whether I should go to sleep - or write a whole ass book. P.S.* it's the latter I do not own any of 'The Walking Dead' characters, this is the younger version of the Dixon brothers so obviously THOSE writings are mine, completely mine!! I loved watching 'The Sandlot' growing up and wanted to make the friends in this story as close as they are in that movie. If you have never watched 'The Sandlot' before it's basically a group of teen boys growing a close bond over baseball. They spend the whole summer together fighting different challenges like 'The Beast' along the way. If you don't know who 'The Beast' is definitely watch the movie it's hilarious, hopefully you'll enjoy it just as much as I do!!!
