You've just arrived in the glade and you're the only girl which means you're the only available bachelorette. This means that everyone is constantly asking you out on dates, but you only have eyes for one guy in the Glade: Newt. He's the nicest and most respectful one in the Glade but he never gets a date with you, and his patience is wearing thin. I take no credit for the setting or characters- James Dashner did that.

Eight years after the first group of subjects found themselves on the grass around the Box, followed suit by others, a girl sets foot in the Glade. She has to find her place in that nightmarish version of Heidi's paradise, and learn to navigate being the first and only girl there. A thing that comes with many pros, many cons and a bunch of guys not realising how hot they are (besides Minho, he knows), especially Newt. Original character(s)'s description is going to be left as irrelevant as possible so that the reader can imagine themselves as her. I just needed more Newt (and the others) in my life... this is a very self-indulgent fanfiction. Some topics may be heavy for some readers, but they are all already explored in canon.

Emily and Newt are twins. Newt is older and Emily is younger. They are nine years old and are being taken from their mother for some kind of a experiment.

So I'm a huge fan of both of these series and I had a few epiphanies that I thought I might as well share with all of you!!! This is my thoughts on how the two series connect, and like the title suggests, none of this is canon, but I is legit as frick so you should definitely read it -- it will be worth your time. Besides, it's short, so it's easy to read. ONE MORE THING: If you haven't read/finished either or both of these series, then ya might not want to read this since it's chock full o' spoilers :3

Maeve thought that she was just in a nightmare that if she pinched herself harder she would wake up in her own home. But the dark elevator shaft was just the beginning of her new reality.
