My feet slap against the hard, concrete Maze floor. I round another corner, sighing in annoyance at the dull grey walls. My breath hitches in my throat, coming face to face with a Glader. "Minho was telling the truth." - I awoke in the maze, with only the towering concrete walls to keep me company and the absence of my memories to remind me of the torment of my unknown life before this. I was the first in the Maze, but the Gladers didn't know it yet.
