Growing up in a materially wealthy but emotionally scaring family, Lola overcame one life obstacle after another until they drove her mad. Feeling exhausted with life, she started self-harming in hope to fulfill the empty feelings in her heart, but it gradually drove her to suicide. Waking up from death, is she really given a second chance in life, or is it destiny playing a mean prank on her?
Excerpt:
"Suddenly, the foggy familiar figures disappears into the cold dark night. Then a mellow blue sky appears before me. A hand reaches out and gently holds on to mine. Her face is fuzzy but for once, I feel safe. She wants to take me somewhere bright and warm. My ruptured soul and filthy sweaty body will be lathered with heavenly lights. I will be clean again, right? Then I remember Angie's gently smile as she looked over her shoulder and asked me "Lola, do you believe in second chance?" A drop of tear flows down my face and I finally feel free."
