Not knowing the truth behind her bloodline, Chizuru Totsuka live her life like a normal human would. She know nothing of her real parents, only know that both of them were killed by their enemy. The only things she has as a reminder of them was a tantou called Yagen Toushiro and two of the Totsuka blades passed to her by her adopted father before he died. Chizuru live the way of modern samurai, practice the sword-style forgotten by today's generation. All went well, until a strange yet familiar fox crossed her path. Yep, Chizuru had been chosen as a saniwa to fight against the group that had attempting to change the past, the Historical Revisionist due to her unusual high amount of spiritual power. Her type of case was very rare in that far modern age, which causes her to be sought as some sort of time guardian together with her group of Touken Danshi.

This here is a story of a teenager that is very clumsy, yet kind and good at baking and making food. After her school she went to a shrine and sees a sword when she touched it there was a bright light and she got transferred to Ancient Japan.
