A Novella. It is New Year's Eve, and the world is getting ready to celebrate. But this year, as midnight comes, so does an inexplicably terrifying fate. In a desperate attempt to survive, a group of strangers, brought together by luck and chance, flee westwards in a race against time - and midnight is not far behind.

It was already creepy in itself, to be quite honest. it wasn't just some stranger we found lying dead in the woods, which, don't get me wrong, THAT would be creepy too. No, this was our best friend. Our kind-hearted, adventurous best friend, who got to live sixteen years on this earth, and then she died. and then, one by one, so did we.
