Her father is the only parent she has, because her mom left them. Her dad says it was for a good reason, but is it a good reason to leave your child with a father you can barely make waffles? Eclipse's father is starting to drink again, and it's hard for Eclipse. Her father abuses her, and he is always tired. He calls in for work saying he's sick, but he just drinks. Eclipse has had enough with it, but right before she's about to run away, someone comes to help her, and hopefully find out who her mother is.
