Many times, a god came down and fell in love with a mortal which lead to an affair, leading to children with the mortals. These were called demigods. Demigods are said to have the power of their godly parent. The stronger the parent, the stronger the kid.

She's the underdog of the group, and she's used to looking out for herself and her sister. No one else. So she isn't sure what to do when a bright eyed boy starts looking out for her, and wanting to be her friend. Can she trust him with her secrets? Or will he only turn around to stab her in the back? Harry Potter has always run with the popular crowd. How could he not, being the Boy Who Lived and all? He never needed any friends outside of Ron and Hermione, didn't want any. Until he met Violet. But will their relationship grow to be more, or will Violet's secrets destroy it before it even has a chance to start? Will her shadows consume them?
