Diana one day comes into his life, unexpectedly to him. She's causing so much trouble, that he isn't sure what to do with her. She doesn't mean to but little does she know, how he is alone. Slowly she begins to make changes in him, that he couldn't see coming. Tom doesn't want to really have kids. He likes the idea of being around them, but not raising one.
