So, he spent his entire childhood clinging onto one simple hope: the war would end before his adoptive aunt made him enlist. One of the leaders of the leaders tried to lure the monster back once it was found, but they quickly discovered they were too late to retrieve it, once the monster the made a pact with a Maori chief. Now in modern days, the monster is still lurking. Killing and wrecking havoc upon the traitors and enemies of Ngati Te Utu who lives rightfully up to their name, but only if one made a mistake of underestimating them. Particularly the government who is still fearful of them, since they want to capture the monster. The catch is, a monster can never be tamed.
