I know it's like a thing where John and Jade are siblings and like they're related to Jake and Jane, but we're just gonna keep nanna and Jane and popop and jake separate people from separate families. Also I'm gonna have the strider and lalonde families separate because it's just easier that way. Okay so John and his beautiful sister Jade are having their yearly ball at their mansion. However, what they don't know is that their father invited an unwanted guest. One who may just change the very way Johns life swings. (Intended pun bye) Edit: Instead of updating like every other day like I used to I'll probably just update every week starting next week. :/ haven't really been into writing lately. Been watchin to much plinkoceans on YouTube. Heh. Help. P.S. I've watched all of their videos at least 4 times, like I cAN RECITE SOME OF THE VIDEOS. THATS NOT GOOD.

John is the new kid, with everything that comes with that title; awkwardness, shyness, and attempts to make friends. Except all of this is made even worse with the fact that he's deaf. Dave is your stereotypical resident coolkid. Except he's not. He's a huge nerd, but most people find him intimidating, what with his shades and the fact that he doesn't talk to anyone. Or rather, that he can't talk to anyone, being mute. The two get paired together and form a close bond quite quickly, to the surprise of most of the school, but to none of their friends'. ((I really suck at descriptions. Also, updates for this aren't set, so be prepared for longish waits between chapters or several at a time.))

Dave Strider was 16 years old when a disease was spread throughout the world. He sadly got confused for a person with the disease because of his red eye color. He was sent to a facility and was kept in quarantine where they tested him but made him stay in one of the various secret rooms there. He wanted to get out but was unable to until he met a strange yet kind man named John.

John had a normal life, he lived alone in his apartment and worked at his family's coffee with his dad and sister, but his life changed drastically when he met his new neighbor, Dave Strider. Not only because this new guy had some peculiar habits but also because the blonde made John question his own feelings. Dave Strider struggles with depression. When he was younger he was separated with his older brother Dirk Strider. Dave was moved into an new household where he was ; abused , beaten , and starved. His only friend was what he thought was a ghost named John Egbert. Dirk Strider was accused of a crime he didn't do in the result had gotten his baby brother taken. He looked everywhere till he finally finds his school. He doesn't have the cash to buy him back legally. So he takes up any job he can. One of those is to take care of a man named Jake English who got in what he says was a car crash that made him blind.

dave and dirk get kicked out of there home in Texas. so they go to live in england with some cousins. they didn't go by air but by ship and while at sea a bad storm sank the ship and the two boys get rescued by .....a merman?!

Dave is going to Johns for Christmas, but he runs into a few bumps in the road! Also, John and Dave are hiding something from each other, will they confess? Will they finally be together?

I wrote this because on june 25 they allowed same-sex marriage (gay,lesbi,bi you get the point) legal in all 50 states ;v; anyways dave strider and john egbert get married, besides all that enjoy this lame dorky book
