Based off a song I wrote. This focuses around some of my favorite bands and their members in the 90s. Basically like a high school AU that I just like to write when I'm bored. Mostly centers around Blur but includes Oasis, Radiohead, Green Day, Nirvana, Weezer, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, R.E.M., Red Hot Chili Peppers, No Doubt, Sublime, and probably some others. Just a silly little read. (Keep in mind I'm not English so you can just ignore the fact that the non-American ones talk like Americans, I'm trying my best here).

{early 90s gramon au} damon albarn is a tired teenage celebrity just looking for some peace and privacy. upon moving to a small english city where no one seems to recognize him, one night he meets three other boys with a band who catch his eye, especially a certain guitar player who he finds himself (accidentally) falling for. the closer he gets with the band (and with graham), the more he tries to keep his fame a secret. but how long will it be until his past catches up with him and the truth about him comes out, and what will it mean for the new life he's tried to start?

The summary of Blur vs Oasis

{late 80s dalex au} it was on a gloomy tuesday that college student alex james was caught in the rain while waiting for the morning bus. it was on that same tuesday he met damon albarn, and things began to change very very quickly.

When Damon Albarn moves into an apartment block in London, he befriends a lovely girl that lives next door. Damon and the girl become quite close but there's only one thing stopping them from being something, is her psychotic, drug dealing boyfriend "Tommy" Contents : ✰ smut ✰ mature themes ✰ drug use Main Cast : ✰ Tommy - Joseph Sikora ✰ Damon Albarn ✰ Izzy / Isabella - yourself/random ✰ Graham Coxon Updates : ✰ Chapter 9 is currently in progress

The breeze of London echoed through the hair and his windbreaker, making a majestically site in the blended reds, oranges, and yellows in the afternoon in the city in the corner of a street. A reflection off of his nose from the light highlighted the fact it was straight and his button nose. The horizon always makes the good out of all bland stand out. A bitter taste in my mouth. But that's how it always is in London, with the bus fumes and gases with tea being the stereotypical drink and the pubs being so very critical to us. America so distant and so far from our culture and society. Although London is tumbling and usually the breaking point for all of us here, far past the beauty tourists view in the images taken. And that's the 90's in Britain alright.
