This is a DaveKat story. Dave is an enigma that gets more mysterious by the minute, and Karkat doesn't know the meaning of life. They will soon learn every creavice of each other's mind, ending in a blossoming relationship. Technically, John met her first. And then Karkat did. And then Dave did, but about a month or so after. He couldn't help but feel a little bit out of the loop- after all, he was missing out on a good opportunity to make a new friend. Well, at least that's what he told himself. After he started to notice everything about her- her laugh, her smile, what she orders from Starbucks- he knew in the back of his mind that that lie simply wasn't going to work anymore. Homestuck AU Dave Strider/Karkat Vantas In three weeks, the number of shark attacks around the coast of Wilmington, NC had more than doubled the amount of incidents in the last 50 years. When business brings 14-year-old Karkat Vantas and his father to the sleepy beach town, this information is regarded as unimportant by the teen. He has always thought beaches were stupid, anyway. However, Dave Strider, the self-proclaimed "coolest kid in school" begs to differ, and is determined to show the new boy otherwise. As the two grow closer together, their secrets begin to loom over them - and Karkat Vantas may end up having to pay the price of his existence.

When the two stay over at Dave's house for the weekend, they engage in a game of Truth or Dare. Secrets have been revealed, actions have been made, and the bottle of applejuice is empty. How will this turn out? (Yeah I told you it sucked but the story will be good when I get it going, I promise)
