Humanstuck Davekat. not the real hanahaki, just a version i made up. !!gore warning, emetophobia warning and internalized homophobia!! So you asked and I'm here to provide! Here is the rewrite of my story ! Karkat starts 10th grade at soon and he is terrified. On top of all his anxiety and worries, he has to deal with bullies constant attacking him. But his whole life is about to change. For better or for worse? Who knows. Dave's dreads school starting. He wasn't too excited to be surrounded by screaming girls and boys. Being this popular wasn't too fun, yeah it has its perks but he still doesn't like it much. His whole life is about to change.

Dave Strider, age 13, had to move from Texas because his brother was abusive. He went to live with his (sorta) sister, Rose Lalonde, in California. What he didn't know, is that he'd be going to the same school as his internet friend, Karkat Vantas - who he obviously has the biggest crush on - but the bad part there is.. He introduced himself to Karkat as Dave. His real name.. Is Elizabeth. He had never come out to anyone as being trans, though he told his internet friends he was male, and that his name was Dave. So, he's never transitioned, since he's never told anyone. The problem is, he'd see Karkat at school now. And he would have to avoid him as much as he possibly could, so he wouldn't know it was really him, since he didn't want anyone knowing he was trans. WARNING - Cursing and self harm are common themes, among other mature topics.

But what happens when Karkat begins to develop feelings for his new roommate? (All the characters in this story unless said other wise are from a webcomic called homestuck. Karkat finds himself in a situation where, with Sollux basically kicking him out, he has to find a place to live. If you think for a minute I'll take this fanfiction seriously you're lying to yourselves. The idea for this came from tumblr person angiespeggy. Dave is a cahier at a gas station for a summer job when he sees some weirdo stuffing potatoes in his pants. Dave didn't stop him because he was curious how many he could fit, and the guy went to his school and was well known for his temper. Dave didn't want to talk to that guy because he didn't want to get wrapped up in his shit, but oh well shit happens.

~All character mentioned in this story belong to Andrew Hussie, I own nothing. Also there will be cussing. If you're triggered by mature topics please leave~ Karkat gets bored one day so Dave comes over, and through many... interesting moments... they come to realize that they aren't the only one with feelings for the other. There will probably be smut, lots of fluff. Just a warning, if people don't comment and vote then I won't add more chapters as quickly because I think no one is caring enough to read.
