You don't need to know the game Still Wakes the Deep to follow this story, because I'm definitely not following the canon. I'm doing my own thing here. (I'm just a huge Rennick - and g/t fan.) Expect lots of G/T fluff, slow burn, and a deep dive into the relationship between a Human and a Borrower. And this story is all about one such Borrower. He lives secretly within the walls of Rennick's house. But what if the two of them meet and somehow become friends? Or even more interesting, a Borrower on an oil rig! Adeline was a girl hidden from the world. A girl that perfected the art of sneaking out at age seven, and whose safe space was Medda's theatre. She meets a boy called Jack Kelly when they a sneak into the theatre, and the two become fast friends. However, they have to navigate the many obstacle placed in front of them. They also have to live if they want to be happy, but Adeline's immune system makes that hard. And if they do die, would they be able to find each other in their next life?

Just a few of my own little random Newsies oneshots, might possibly make them into longer stories if anyone is actually interested. This is also probably mostly about Jack and Katherine but I will try to include some of the other characters as well.

A story in which a girl sweeter than sugar runs into a group of boys and has her life change for the better... but also for the worst. Warning: Mentions of blood, abuse, foul language, and teenage boys being teenage boys

(The cover is a place holder) Les and Davey have a hold on me I cannot explain and there's not nearly enough wholesome content of them so I have to write it all myself. I need to share all this Les and Davey and hopefully someone will be inspired to write something else so I'm not alone with my feelings :(

"Race, what's goin' on? Where 'ave ya been?" Crutchie asked, eyeing the boy with worry. Race ignored him and continued limping to the stairs. "Race, get back over here. Crutch and I stayed up waitin' for ya, the least you can do is tell us where youse been." "I'm fine," Race mumbled, not stopping. Jack quickly stepped forward and grabbed the younger boy's arm, not missing the way he tensed up. "C'mon Race, look at me. What's wrong?" Race slowly turned around, keeping his eyes down with the brim of his hat casting a shadow across his face. "I just had a run-in with a couple of guys who were lookin' for a fight. I got a little beat up. Really, it's nothin'." "It's not 'nothing' Race. You're walkin' worse than I do!" Crutchie exclaimed. Jack grabbed Race's chin and tipped it up and Crutchie gasped. Jack's eyes widened too as he and Crutchie got a glimpse of their brother's face. Crutchie's face turned red with anger, his hand clenching his crutch tightly. "Who did this to you?" *** It's a month after the strike, and everything is going great... until it's not. It starts with small arguments with newsies from the other boroughs, and only gets worse. None of the boys know whats going on, but they're trying to ignore it, until one day something happens that none of them can ignore. A/N: Sorry about the sucky summary, I'm bad at writing those.

Les, the adorable 9-year-old who was always getting in trouble, was now 16. He was the only child living in the Jacobs's apartment ever since his brother moved out, while still selling papes, since his father never made a full recovery from the factory incident. His family relied on him to bring in income for things like food and rent. He'd be lying if he said it wasn't stressful at times. But one day when he was on his way to sell papes, a girl appeared that made his heart thump a little faster than normal.
