It's safe to say that Kylie has been with them long enough to call them her brothers (they even tease her with the name Freckles as her "Newsie name" because they say that everybody needs one). When getting papers early one morning two new kids come in who happen to be named Davey and Les. The newsboys take them in as their own, much to Davey's protest since they're only selling to help out at home. But when he meets Kylie, he just may be convinced to stay a little easier than he would if it were Jack talking him into it. Selling papers in New York City is exhausting as it is and the pay is far from great. So when Joseph Pulitzer hikes up the cost just to sell the papers, all of the Newsies go into a frenzy of worry. That is- until Jack comes up with a spontaneous plan. To go on a strike. With the confidence of Jack, the smarts of Davey, the charm of Kylie and some help from a reporter named Katherine, will it all end right in the end? Katherine Pulitzer; Grand Duchess. Or is she? Katherine Pulitzer was 8 years old when her family was ripped away from her right before her eyes. She was found with no recollection on her life and no name except the one sewn into her clothes. The only connection to her life and the future, Paris. Jack Kelly is a conman. A common boy who has learned to survive with the help of a little mischief and little white lies. When him and his best friend Davey hear a rumor that the princess is still alive as well as a reward for finding her; they jump at the first chance to find their own Katherine and bring her to her grandmother in Paris. But none of them are right. Katherine is 18 and no longer in care of the orphanage. She's off on her own in the world to figure out who she was. She then meets Jack Kelly and Davey Jacobs who are convinced she'd be the perfect "princess". The reward, they'll take her to Paris with them. She must learn to act like the princess, but then again, wouldn't she remember? A run to Paris while hiding from her families killers along the way, a romance budding between two who thought they hated one another, a Grand Duchess to find and a past to remember. Will the princess ever be found? Or is it Au Revoir to her forever?
