Jaime Kelly, also known as "Books", is the leader of the Lower Manhattan Newsies. She loves her Newsies like they're her family. Every 8 Days she goes to see her best friend, Spot, the "King of Brooklyn". Everything seems to be going pretty normal until one day when she and her brother, Jack, start a strike against "The World". But what happens when memories of her past starts to resurface? And what happens when she makes a bet with " King Idiot" that in 8 days he could get her to say 8 letters? Note: ALL CHARACTERS MENTIONED IN THE 1992 FILM BELONG TO DISNEY. Liza was 14 when she first got thrown into the hell known as the refuge. Around the same time a young boy gets shoved into her cell. She has a feeling this boy isn't like every asshole in this place As the years pass, she realizes how important Jack is to her. Could Snyder really take him away too? The two teens plan their escape. What could go wrong? Throughout the story Liza is faced with challenges of defiance and rebellion. Maybe even lead a strike.

Have you ever wondered what would happen if the newsies were thrown into a world with an unstable immortal 14 year old? Yeah, I don't think anyone else has either. Follow up- have you also wondered what it would be like if this premise was made into a comic? No? Well that's too damn bad cause that's exactly what this is. BEAR IS BACKKKKKKK with a new fanfic and a new fandom NEWSIES! ---- Jack Kelly has to deal with a strike. He also has to deal with his feelings...feelings for someone named David, the only problem is David Jacobs is terrified. He's fallen for someone he shouldn't have-Jack Kelly. And not only that, but he has a sister to care for as well, and Sarah Jacobs recognizes Katherine. Katherine doesn't remember her. And this is an issue because Katherine Pulitzer has started to realize things. She always knew that she and her closest friend, Jack, were alike in many ways. One of these ways, though, is discoverable through the antics of Racetrack Higgins, who has issues. Issues such as Spot, who simply won't leave him alone. Or perhaps it's the other way around...in any case, Spot Conlon has feelings for Race, feelings he wouldn't have known were possible if it weren't for Kid Blink Baletti, who was kissing Mush in a closet. Yeah. In a closet. And Spot found him, which led to Mush Meyers feeling very nervous, because he shouldn't have been kissing Blink-it wasn't legal. This led to Crutchie Morris trying to fix everything between everyone, and everything just being one big, gay mess.

cassandra dubois doesn't fall for actors. especially not charming, awkward, loud-mouthed dancers like joshua burrage. she's here to play cello in the newsies tour orchestra-not make friends, and definitely not fall in love. but months on the road blur the lines between pit and stage, and somewhere between post-show dinners and stolen glances during rehearsals, cassie's rules start to unravel. Jack had a massive crush on the hot-but-lame guy that works at his friend's record store. Davey aka hot-but-lame guy asks Jack out, thus beginning the spark between two lives who otherwise would've never met. Not like this, anyway.
