This is a love story between One of the few girl Newsies and Davey. This is based on a dream I had. I wasn't sure if I should make this a Davey x reader, but I really felt like I had to go with this one. I needed a name and full backstory to elaborate on. This will be in first person point of view. This is my first story on here. I'm super nervous. ❤️❤️

Few years later, after the pay for the papes had been raised, Jack and Jo decided to step up and do something. Problem is, no one else will help unless Brooklyn is in. Another problem, Spot Conlon proves to be more stubborn then they all originally thought. The newsies have grown up. It's 1914, a year after Kid Blink passed away. But Jack is not allowed to forget him so easily; he's given a letter signed by Kid Blink the day before he died, giving Jack vague instructions, and more confusion than anything else. There's one thing he does know, though: he needs help from the newsies. And even when that mess is taken care of to the best of its ability, now they have something new to worry about: World War I.

Emerson Kelly has been a newsie just about all her life. She takes care of the boys, makes sure they eat everyday, makes enough for herself to live selling papes all while hiding her identity. That was her older brother Jacks choice, not hers. It seemed like he only lived to control his younger sisters life. He even took the credit for everything she did! With the strike impending Emerson finally sees a chance to step out of her brothers shadow with the help of a newcomer, David Jacobs

A quick note: I started this (3/7/18) when i was a sophomore in high school, so my writing isn't at all up to par. Constructive criticism is appreciated!
