Mental health experts saMental Health experts say that the first five years of a person life are very important to their emotional and mental health development. Infants and toddlers need at least one caregiver to be emotionally and physically available. Children need their feelings acknowledge as well as their pain soothed. They need to be able to develop a sense of security and safety that will allow them to explore the world. When children are not raised with their needs met, they either succumbed to a future of fear and darkness; or they look outside their environment to have those needs met. I was the latter. Abused during the first ten years of my life, this a glimpse of day during my childhood.

I'm basing this story off of the story "A Child Called It" by David Pelzer. His story is about child abuse. My story is about where I'm a little homeless girl struggling to survive. This is told from my perspective. This not true but as you read you'll think it us real. I hope you like it. I hope this inspires you to help homeless people in need.
