Kristen appears to be an ordinary young lady, a member of the eighteenth-century English aristocracy. Yet beneath her privileged life lie countless dangers and hidden sorrows. Her chance at redemption comes in the form of a kidnapping that, through a series of extraordinary twists and turns, leads her to the cunning and captivating Captain Jack Sparrow, drawing her into a reckless whirlwind of adventure. Are pirates always the cruelest of men, or can the so-called "righteous" prove even more merciless? Must a woman always conceal the strength of her true nature? Is the sea only dangerous when the storm begins to rage? This is the English translation made by me of my story "Pointing East", originally written in Italian. While the story is inspired by the "Pirates of the Caribbean" film saga, every event and character arc is entirely the product of my own imagination. First chapter published on January 20, 2021. Jack finally has the heart of Davy Jones in his possession and is preparing to use it for his own gains. Unfortunately, the captain of the Dutchman has found a weakness in Sparrow. A weakness Jack is willing to trade his only leverage for. What would make Jack give up what he wants most?
