Young Jim Neary is destined to become the next protector of Cansis Kingdom, but having been bullied all his life by his cousin Dolores, he wishes it could happen sooner rather than later. Complicating matters is the recently resurrected sorcerer Rhoxnik, who craves both throne and the mystical Cansian Blade - whose sacred powers can only be wielded by a protector who has grown in wisdom.
