Christine Parker has been living six years in Ohio because of her parent's work. She gets bullied in high school there and her family decides to move back to their house in Stoneybrook, Connecticut. She's happy because she is going to see her best friend, Sam Thomas, and his family. When she arrives, she finds out some things have really changed in her neighbors' house, the Thomas'. She also finds Sam is kind of angry at her because of her moving. Hopefully, with a dinner they can solve it. But, what will happen when she encounters some old enemies from her old high school in Stoneybrook? What will happen when she finds out she has a crush on her best friend? Will he feel the same? Will she be able to tell him how she feels?

When a new family moves to Stoneybrook, they seemed great. The parents instantly got along with the other adults, and their children all became the most popular kids in their grades. But it seems as if those kids are maybe not as nice as they seem. It turns out that they all were bullies, and Dawn is the first one to notice it. And, even worse, these people are directly affecting the lives of the club members. How will Dawn get her mother to see her old friend isn't as nice as she used to be, and get everyone else to see that those kids are bullies, not people that everyone else should look up to.

The club broke up in their sophomore year of high school- under mysterious circumstances. The clients never found out why (and neither did most of their families), but were told the club would never come back together. But that's not what this story is about. No, this story is about how old charges make the decision to restart the club, and all the trial and error that ensues before they finally figure it out. Just like the original members.
