Little Dawnkit lives in Smokeclan, just one of three huge warrior clans. As Thrushflight, one of the deputies, apprentice, she is badly mistreated in secret training with unsheathed claws. As odd things happen around her, Dawnpaw must find out what Duststar is really up to. She has to escape his crazy clasp, good thing he only has two lives left. The only question now is, Can she do it Alone?
