The first dawsey book I wrote was written before the season 3 finale had aired. Now I want to write this new one. This is based straight after the season finale, with Gabby in Caseys apartment. Hello hello!! Here is a new story for you :D Originally, I've written this months ago, and it's already published somewhere. But I want to give it to you HERE. I wrote this because there is a situation in which the firefihgters "never" faced during the first 3 seasons (4 now), and I wanted it to be done ^^ It takes place in the beginning of season 4. Gabby is still pregnant, Severide had his lieutenant badge back and Patterson stayed at the firehouse, under Kelly's orders. SUMMARY: During a call on Humboldt Park, one of the firefighters found a bomb in one of the room of the house they had been called. But the bomb exploded et let four of them under the ruin of this house. Encircled by fires, flames, debris and smoke, completely stuck, they had to survive to this hell until the arriving of the rescue...

Gabby Dawson comes back from Puerto Rico for an unexpected reason. How will everyone react to her return? Will she ever be the same? How will Casey react to a life changing surprise? This story is set around 3 years after Gabby visited in season 8 and nothing ever happened between Brett and Casey in this storyline. I do not own any of the characters.
